Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Alexa holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Glendon College, York University, a Canadian Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, an American Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and a Master of Laws from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Alexa was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2017 and the New York State Bar in 2018. Alexa holds a Specialized Certificate in Managing, Investigating and Resolving Workplace Harassment Complaints. Additionally, Alexa assists with the elections of international officers of the Teamsters Union by ensuring a fair and transparent election. Alexa is a cooperating lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario.
